GVPS HOSTEL : A Home Away From Home
Green Valley Public School is a Residential and Day Boarding school. Build in the open space of Karmeta Area. The school is well constructed to accommodate a strength of 350 hostelers 200 in the Junior and 150 in the senior hostel approximately. The hostel mess is well equipped with the latest technology in cooking,every child is served hot and fresh meal every single day with care and affection.As the age group is from kinder to senior secondary the students are provided with the faculty of laundry and personal care according to their needs.
The hostel premises also have a playground for the students to enjoy their play time. There is also arrangment for entertainment of our students as the big Television set is also a part of our students schedule strictly monitored by the Hostel wardens.
Class Rooms
The class rooms are constructed carefully keeping in mind the need and age of the child. They are having proper ventilation and light which is favorable for the children present in the class.
Laboratories
The school comprises of 5 laboratories (Physics,Biology,Chemistry,Science and Computer) which are well equipped with the latest instruments and upgraded material according to the current syllabus given by the CBSE board.
Transport Facility
As the school is situated at a very connecting point,adequate facility of transport is provided to our Day-boarding students as we have students coming to our school from a distance of 40 kms. The school buses are well equipped with CCTV camera,GPS and well trained staff to handle the transport caring upto 50 students in one bus. Proper security arrangements are also available for our students.
Gyan Sarovar Auditorium
A huge space of measurement is the pride of every Green Valian where all the wonderful memories of cultural and spitural events take place.As it can accommodate the entire strength along with the faculty. It is also an education and knowledge point as all the important seminars,workshops and symposiums are held in our Gyan Sarvodaya Auditorium.
Physical Training
Students have facilities to take part in various physical training courses like P.T., Karate, Skating etc. They can also opt for Physical education as a vocational course in their Class XI and XII curriculum.
Medical Facility
A Doctor is appointed on regular basis who stays in the infirmary which is equipped with medicines and a small rest room. Various checkup camps are also organized on regular basis.
Co-curricular Activities
Teaching/Learning in PPS goes beyond academics. The school offers variety of such activities that help student imbibe valuable lessons in social development and responsibilities.
Conveyance
The School has the best possible transport arrangements to pickup and drop all day scholar students at scheduled stops at notified timings.
Library- Our Reading Section
The School Library has more that 2000 books only fit for academic purpose. Apart from that their are also refresher books and sample papers of latest edition made available for the students appearing for the board examination.
Story books for all age groups is also there along with the magazines and weekly and daily journals for some light reading amongst their study schedule.
